Kind hearted volunteers and generous companies have combined to assist an East Midlands project in giving a long-term unoccupied home a new lease of life for soldiers returning from conflict. Derby electrician Tim Cox launched the Home for a Hero project, in conjunction with Derventio Housing trust, a charity which supports homeless people, because he was upset at how soldiers were treated when coming home from overseas.
